Event Description

Web seminar will present the basics of handling a sales tax audit. Topics that will be addressed include: audit preparation, dealing with the auditor, how to answer difficult or irrelevant information requests, procedures for resolving issues, whether to sign a statute of limitation waiver, and preparing for litigation or settlement.  The web seminar will also cover unique audit issues specific to equipment leasing, and how to anticipate which sales tax issues the auditor is most likely to address

Who Should Attend?
This web seminar is designed to assist less experienced tax professionals acquire a better understanding of issues necessary for efficient sales tax auditing and compliance.
